Get Ready for a Summer of Fun at Del Mar Pines School!
Join us for two exciting sessions of summer camp at Del Mar Pines School, where learning meets adventure! Campers will enjoy hands-on activities, creative projects, and plenty of summer fun in a safe and supportive environment. Whether joining one session or both, students will build new skills, make new friends, and create unforgettable memories.
Del Mar Pines School Summer Day Camp is open to all children in our community including elementary grade students who do not attend Del Mar Pines School. For over thirty years, Del Mar Pines summer programs have facilitated student learning through the exploration of both academic and enrichment classes, all geared toward making learning fun!
Session 1:
June 16th to July 3rd, 2025
Monday to Thursday 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM

Cookin Around The World: "Star-Studded Plates" - Celebrity Chefs' Signature Creations
Embark on a mouthwatering journey as we explore the delicious signature dishes of TV Network Celebrity chefs. From Bobby Flay, Rachel Ray, Gordon Ramsey to Giada DeLaurentiis, the young chefs will delight in recreating and tasting unique foods that will broaden their culinary horizons. Along the way they’ll hone their kitchen skills, from chopping and mixing to rolling and shaping all under the guidance of an expert chef, who specializes in making cooking fun and accessible for young learners. So join us for a culinary adventure like no other, where every bite tells a story of how these culinary stars rose to fame and every recipe celebrates these inspirational chef’s cuisine!

Cookin Around The World: "Enchanting Eats" - Hogwarts Culinary Adventures
Calling all young wizards and witches! Step into the magical world of Hogwarts through the kitchen in our "Enchanting Eats" summer camp session. Campers will mix, stir, and conjure up spellbinding dishes inspired by the magical world of Harry Potter. From Butterbeer delights to savory shepherd’s pie and enchanting sweets from Honeydukes, each day offers a new culinary adventure filled with hands-on cooking, creativity, and a dash of magic.
Campers will not only learn fundamental cooking skills but also explore kitchen "potions," magical techniques, and themed recipes that bring the wizarding world to life. Aprons on and wands ready — a magical culinary journey awaits!

Important Details
Because classes fill up very fast, some classes may show as available on this website while our online booking tool accurately has the class marked as FULL and will not permit additional registration. We are trying to keep up with the fast pace of registrations and apologize for any inconvenience.
If you cannot enroll into a class because it is labelled SOLD OUT, you can call the school at (858) 481-5615 and have your student placed on the waitlist.
Tuition includes all materials for summer day camp classes. Full tuition payment is due at the time of enrollment. Registration and payment are only accepted online. Payments are made at the time of registration through our registration service.
Summer Day Camp students do not need to wear uniforms but come to learn in comfortable, school appropriate, play clothes or "Free Dress" as we call it. We prefer your child wear closed toe shoes for their safety.
Students attending classes that end at 1:30 & 2:30 must be picked up at those times and not more than 5 minutes after the end of class.
